The DP121 video cassette combines the benefits of 5:1 compression ratio DVCPRO digital component recording with the reliability and durability associated with metal-coated media. The tape has ultra-fine, high-energy metal magnetic particles, developed with a high-strength base material that is only 4.2µm thick.

A tough cassette shell and sealed structure assure durability and prevent entry of dust and other particles into the cassette.
